Israel Troops Found Weapons During Taking of Gaza Hospitals.

This situation with the Israel troops finding weapons from Hamas under the hospital in Gaza reminds me about how important “what people think and believe” is. Sadly, these Hamas leaders have been misled and believe that they are doing Allah’s will by killing people from Israel. They also think it’s permisable to lie to the world and say they do not have weapons and hideouts under the civilian hospital, which is what they have said in the days leading up to this.

What kind of god a person believes in matters. What a person believes about others matters. How someone is raised matters.

These Hamas leaders obviously believe it’s ok to lie. They believe it’s ok to protect their stronghold by hiding under a civilian hospital. They believe it’s acceptable to rape women and kill families and hold people hostage for days on end. They believe that burning homes, killing babies and shooting parents is the just thing to do. How did they get to the point that they think all this is the right and just thing to do?

Every society and every individual needs a compass. They need a guide. They need to know the right direction to go. They need a solid foundation to build their society and individual lives on. I’m positive that the Hamas do not have a firm foundation. It is also true that more and more people in America have almost no foundation, no compass, no guide, no direction.

This is not a good place to be.

What about you? What is your firm foundation? What is your compass? I am so thankful my parents raised me to follow Jesus Christ and to have the Word of God (the Bible) as my firm foundation. I’m not sure what kinds of decisions I would have made without that. I’m not sure what false beliefs I would have fallen into without that compass.

I hope that each and everyone one of you have a firm foundation centered on Christ and His Word.
